A breath of fresh air absolutely describes Karen. Born and raised in Campbell River, Karen’s extensive career as an arts administrator has ranged from the East Coast Music Awards to the Junos to the Vancouver Chamber Choir. With a Public Relations degree from Halifax, she has worked in radio promotions, produced concerts and art shows, and loves meeting audience members. Karen’s vivacious energy is contagious. POTA benefits from her fresh perspective for all projects that come our way. She enthusiastically supports heritage conservation, plays the piano, tends a garden, and bakes a wicked cheesecake. Karen is delighted to return to Campbell River to share her passion for the arts and promote west coast creators of all genres.
